I currently teach film archives and early cinema in the Master Cinéma at University Paris 8 and film conservation & restoration in the frame of the Master RÉSEAU CINÉMA CH (University of Lausanne & Cinémathèque suisse).
As independent film historian and researcher, my main fields of investigation are early cinema (member of the Executive Committee of Domitor, the International Society for the Study of Early Cinema) and photography.
Currently doing a PhD on "The Film Element as Historical Source: the Early Films (1895-1911) in the collections of the Swedish Film Institute" (University Paris 8).
